PropanaMide, 3-aMino-N-phenyl-, Monohydrochloride - Introduction
3-Amino-N-phenylpropanamide hydrochloride (3-amino-N-phenylpropanamide hydrochloride) is an organic compound.
Nature:
Chemical formula: C9H12ClNO
Molecular weight: 185.66g/mol
Appearance: White crystalline solid
Solubility: Dissolved in water, the solubility is relatively good
Melting point: about 135-140 ℃
Use:
3-Amino-N-phenylpropanamide hydrochloride is commonly used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. It is an important raw material for the synthesis of drugs and other organic compounds. It is used in the field of medicine to prepare drugs, such as polyvinylpyrrolidone (Polyvinylpyrrolidone) and aloveline (Alverine). In addition, it can also be used in the preparation of dyes, dye intermediates and coordination ligands.
Preparation Method:
Usually phenylacetic acid acetone cyanide can be generated by the reaction of phenylacetic acid and acetone cyanide, and then it can be converted into phenylacetyl chloride. Finally, reaction of phenylacetyl chloride with aminoacetic acid followed by treatment with hydrochloric acid gives 3-Amino-N-phenylpropylpropanamide hydrochloride.
Safety Information:
3-Amino-N-phenylpropanamide hydrochloride is relatively stable under general conditions of use, but it is a chemical substance and should comply with safe operating procedures. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Avoid dust during operation and storage to avoid respiratory discomfort caused by inhalation.
